The Brief
Objects that deserve to be seen in full detail — material, texture, weight, and craftsmanship. The brief demanded stills that treated each object as a subject, not a product.
The Approach
Contrast and depth were the guiding principles. Dark field backgrounds, precise highlights, and negative space used as compositional architecture — every frame designed to make the object feel weighty and significant.
The material study approach meant lighting changed per object type: matte surfaces received different treatment than reflective ones, ensuring the true character of each material was captured rather than corrected.
The Outcome
A series of tactile stills with the silhouette precision of luxury advertising — built to live in editorial contexts, campaign decks, and premium e-commerce environments.
